Not many people know this, but Market Overton church is the oldest in Rutland, so it is worth preserving a wee bit longer! Maintenance is on-going, but recently completed projects include the Anglo Saxon church tower. The photograph shows work in progress on the Chancel roof in summer 2007. Most of the money has been raised locally but a £5,000 grant was obtained from RHCPT as well.
