HOW TO DOWNLOAD ROUTE PLANNER

This may depend on your computer operating system, but if it is fairly modern simply

Double Click on the following hyperlink,
 Rutland Cycle Route Planner 

or, depending on your computer operating system, right click
eg. For Windows 2000 - click "Save target as" ,
OR for Windows XP - click "Open link in new window" .

You will then be prompted for the name of a folder on your computer where you would like the Excel spreadsheet to be saved.

You can then come out of the internet and run the program at your leisure at any time - just by locating that folder and the saved program file.  See How to run Rutland Cycle Route Planner
